Our 2023-2024 Committees:

Social Committee-The Social Committee plans get-togethers for PTO members a couple times throughout the year at restaurants or other places.  It will provide community for members outside of the school setting to get to know each other. 

Mavs Run TogetherMavs Run Together Committee takes care of our MSIS Staff.  They will provide snacks, meals, gifts, etc throughout the year to show our staff appreciation.  They will put together a Staff Favorites List and Amazon list for our families to use as well.  Lead by:  Melany Sutton

Mav Bash CommitteeThe Mav Bash Committee plans for our big event held in September each school year.  The Mav Bash is a Fun Family event with a few fundraising projects that take place during the event.

Our Mission Statement:
The MSIS PTO is organized for the purpose of supporting and enhancing the educational experiences and charitable purposes of Maize South Intermediate
Students by:
1.  Engaging in social and academic activities, communication and fundraising.
2.  Providing an organization through which parents, school, and teachers can work cooperatively.  
3.  Providing financial support for programs not funded by USD 266
The MSIS PTO will encourage parent, teacher, and community leadership, connection, ownership and ongoing involvement at the school, and will cooperate with school administration.
